I was just looking at my Weebly site statistics, which is conveniently displayed in a line graph. At a glance, I can see the jagged up-down pattern of people patronizing my site. I have often wondered why that pattern so persistently goes extremely high, then down, down, a little high, down, then extremely high again.
That line graph very is illustrating the picture of my life. If my bank account were converted into a line graph, I'm sure it would have the same pattern. It's time to stop the madness.
(By the way, the word extremely doesn't refer to any really extreme numbers, they're only extreme compared to the rest of the graph.)
I believe that when I slow down and go at my natural slow, methodic speed, that line graph will change patterns. Instead of being a jagged, up-down pattern, it will be a wavy pattern that will gradually level off at a comfortable place.
Nice.
